Bon Cop, Bad Cop sounds good...I like the article on bilingual films and the vid from Slap Shot. (You just haven’t seen Slap Shot until you’ve heard the Hanson brothers in Québécois.)

I think that, yes, bilingual films fail all the time in Canada, and that's mostly due to language politics. BUT, Quebec has a rich tradition of crazy-good film making, which is truly sad because they never get seen outside of that province. I mean, Being At Home With Claude, Maelstrom, Looking For Alexander... goooooood stuff.

Some of the stuff that made this list really turns me off, like Slap Shot and Bon Cop, Bad Cop - but there's no pleasing everyone.
